The room was quiet with big windows, balcony, for instance for a really great stay. Its location at a short distance from a seaside pleasure pier was fab. A perfect hotel, my first choice in Eastbourne.

The location was unbeatable - near to the restaurant for breakfast which was very nice, so much choice and all hot and delicious. Easily reached Rosetto, located within a close distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there🙂😃

Delicious and plentiful breakfast, with OUTSTANDING fruit and cereals. Had favourable and beautiful location anywhere in the lounge or library, 4-6 minutes walking distance from Nigel Greaves Gallery.

    helpful staff
    great amenities

This hotel is great, and has everything I need like Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a 24-hour reception. The staff even helped with a late departure during my first stay. Highly recommend for a lovely experience! Coming back next year!

The breakfast was great!! The service was very good and the room very comfortable. Some furniture could be up dated as it was not executive standard. We had a very welcoming and comfortable stay.

We did not eat in the restaurant of the evening we arrived, because we felt for the prices being charged, should have matched menue. I felt should have been more modern and exciting, instead sounded like an 80's menue. I'm sorry chef but I think you need to up your game and be a bit more 2012, there maybe should be more fish/seafood dish'S. I am sure the food would have been great, but it did not intice us to stay and eat at your table. Would only have this remark to say as a downside to our stay.

Room and service ok. Good breakfast buffet.

The room was unbearably warm. Other guests also complained. The window could only be opened a little to ventilate, that was not enough.

great sea view but terrible check-in experience

A fine sea view made up for the awful check-in wait.

Super location, rich English and continental breakfast

Partly rude staff. Don't feel like dealing with people who don't speak English well.

    friendly waitress
    large clean room

    Family with children best avoided

One of the waitresses at breakfast was friendly and offered us extra toast without us even asking. The room we stayed in was large enough for my family and clean enough, made things a bit easier since I had a new baby and two dogs with me.

It wasn't exactly a steal, but it was tolerable, just not worth the cost.
